Severed Feet Off the Cost Of BC

with one comment

I have a theory for the 5 feet they found washed up on the coast of British Colombia.  It makes complete sense even though it will sound ridiculous.  I believe it is the rabbits.  Yeah you read that right it is rabbits, for centuries we have been carrying rabbits feet to bring us good luck.  Well they have risen up and they are getting even.  Ibunny think they’ll find some more feet on the cost.  Beware of the rabbits!  They are out to get us.

Bugs Bunny catch phrase was “What’s up Doc?”  He was trying to find a doctor, a surgeon to be more precise, which would teach him how to surgically remove a foot from a human.  Apparently the rabbits have found a doctor that has turned his back on his own race and has shown them how to sever a foot.   I don’t know why the feet have been found on the cost but as soon as I have news I’ll let you know.

If you find yourself in the company of rabbits, jack rabbits or hares beware.  Be very carful when you are near carrots too since where you find carrots you usually find rabbits.  Remember the movie Planet of the Apes, we don’t have to fear apes, it’s the rabbits that will take over!  Take your stinking paws off me, you damned dirty bunny!

Doggy Do or Doggy Don’t? That Is The Question

with one comment

I have previously mentioned that my mother had given away my dog. A few days ago there was this elderly lady that came to the store which I work at and she had a black miniature poodle. I almost kidnapped poodlenapped it. It would have been so easy because she was over 80 years old. It would have been just like taking candy from a baby. As easy as taking poodle from a Granny would be more precise.

Having told this to a co-worker, I have found out that this type of behavior is strongly frowned upon and I would possibly lose my job if I acted on my urge to have a dog.  Decisions, decisions, decisions, dog or job, a tough choice, I would rather have a dog than a job but I have to have a job to take care of the dog.  A catch 22 if there ever was one.  So I decided to keep my job over having a dog, for now.  If another elderly person with a dog comes near me and I am not at work, I don’t know if I can restrain myself.  I think I have a problem.

How To Get Free Cookies And Juice

without comments

Hey, have I have a deal for you.  Do you want to get a juice box and a cookie and not pay a penny for it?  Well it is quite easy go and donate blood.  Becookiefore you leave get the juice of your choice and you also get a cookie or even a granola bar.  You get nutrition while you save someones life.  If you are afraid of needles don’t look and it is virtually painless.

You guessed it I gave blood this week.  I would appriciate it if you do too.  We all have it to give and all it costs us is a little time and half a second of discomfort, if even that.  I know, I know, I have been pestering you all to give but it is very important their are people in need of you and only you can help them out, so please give.

Enough of this begging.  Go give blood now!

I went to the donor clinic three times this week.  I was off on Tuesday, so I decided to go and donate in the afternoon.  I had an appointment for Wednesday at 6:05PM but I had something else plan for that evening.  On Tuesday I got to the clinic at 3:55 and they close at 4:00 for supper so I was asked to try to come later.  Being a temperamental person I was pissed off and was thinking off not going.  Last year after my fathers death I made a promise to donate blood to the Canadian Blood Services since my father received a lot blood transfusion.  I went back to the blood clinic at 6:39 that evening and it was so full that I left since by my calculation I would wait at least an hour before It was my turn.  I did go back the following afternoon and it only took an hour in all including the drive from and back to work.  I am very glad that I did it.

Procrastination Pays Off

with one comment

I fell shame, as I should. When I started this blog, I promised you that I would write something every week. Last summer I skipped a few week because of my father’s failing health and untimely death. I have no reason for skipping last week post other than procrastination and the fact that I did not know what to write about.

Procrastination, one of my many faults, has paid off yet another time.  As I have said before I have XM radio in my new car, my three months free trial was to be over on the 31st of may and I decided to let it go and wait for a better deal than the free month if I purchase one full year.  XM called me three days before I was to be disconnected and I have saved a great amount.  Now I can listen to crystal clear music in my car for another year.

Since I have not written a post last week, I owe you one.  So I’ll try to write an extra post for you this month.  I forgot to mention that My iPod is slowly but surely getting filled up with music, I have over 6500 songs in it right now and I still have a lot more to import in it.
